According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, Roma is looking to strengthen multiple positions in the winter transfer window, with Ranieri hoping Dybala stays at the club.

The report states that Ranieri intends to continue using a three-center-back system on the defensive side, requiring at least one central defender. Di Cesare (Bari) and Luiz Felipe (Al-Ittihad) are among the players on their radar. If Mario Hermoso departs, Roma will need two new center-backs. Mourinho hopes to bring Hermoso to Fenerbahçe, though the player reportedly prefers a return to La Liga.

On the right flank, while Alexis Saelemaekers has performed well, he alone is not considered sufficient. Roma is also monitoring Delprato (Parma), Zappa (Cagliari), and Rensch (Ajax), as well as Bournemouth’s Max Aarons.

In attack, before making new signings, Ranieri hopes Paulo Dybala remains at Roma. Galatasaray has not yet made an offer, and Dybala has expressed his desire to stay. Both the coach and the fans share this sentiment.

As for forwards, Roma is exploring options to provide Dovbyk with occasional rest. Beto (Everton) is a target of interest, with Torino also keeping tabs on him. Additionally, Roma is monitoring Giacomo Raspadori (Napoli), with recent reports suggesting he could be part of a potential swap deal involving Pellegrini.
